“this is why we use machines, when people do deadlifts they do them all wrong by bending to far forward or going too low, using their back which causes pain. So this is the reason why we use machines, we work the machine instead of working our backs.”

This doesn’t sit well with da madd scientist and here’s why: first of all we do want to use our backs thru proper exercise loading; by the way when you have the title “trainer” the reason being: you’re suppose to train people how to properly execute lifting movements to condition the muscles to meet the loading demands of daily living. Riddle me this: when did machines develop the ability to make proper adjustments for individuals? When did machines develop the skills to ensure individuals move in the correct biomechanical & motor pattern specific to the lift? Exactly stop bullshitting people and being lazy and do your damn job: teach & train people how to do the things they can’t do for themselves in a safe environment. If think this is too much responsibility, labor intensive or you think being a trainer doesn’t have the value of another profession, then jump yo ass over there and be average all you wanna be but don’t misrepresent this profession or the ones who are being professional.

Now let me leave you with sum news you can use (principle): use the tools don’t allow the tools to use u. Machines are a tool but not the entire toolbox. Use the tool don’t allow the tool to use u; movements are 3 dimensional and to improve strength it would be wise to train this way; don’t you think?
